Scientific Advisor
Prof. Hany El Kateb is a Member of Egypt’s Presidential Advisory Council of Scientists and Experts, a Senior Scientist at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and an international consultant with over 40 years of experience in forestry, land use and resource management across all continents. He has led major interdisciplinary projects in organic farming, desert forestry, ecosystem rehabilitation and sustainable urban development, including pioneering desert forestry initiatives in Egypt in partnership with the Bavarian State. A widely recognised global expert, he has received multiple awards for advancing German-Egyptian scientific collaboration and continues to champion innovation-driven, sustainable development.
